Amendments 1-9

1st Amendment

The first amendment ensures your right of freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, assembly and petition.

2nd Amendment

The second amendment ensures your right to have and use weapons.

3rd Amendment

The third amendments prohibits unlawful forced housing of soldiers in private property.

4th Amendment

The fourth amendment prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures.

5th Amendment

The fifth amendment identifies certain rights in criminal cases for criminals.

6th Amendment

The sixth amendment ensured the right for a fair and speedy trial.

7th Amendment

The seventh amendment ensured the right to a jury trial in civil trials.

8th Amendment

The eighth amendment ensured the right for criminals to have limited bails and fines, along with uncruel punishments.

9th Amendment

The ninth amendment ensured the right for the government to not infringe on rights in the Constitution.
